HEALTH INSURANCE COUNSELING AVAILABLE - Jan. 1,2008 - Dec. 31, 2009
The SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) program is a free service funded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs to help answer your health insurance, and prescription medication coverage questions.
SHINE volunteers are trained and certified to provide seniors with free confidential counseling.

If you like to sing, join the Mellowtones. They sing for fun, and members do not need to be able to read music. The Mellowtones meet at the Senior Center on scheduled Friday afternoons at 12:15 p.m.

COMPUTER CLASSES at the SENIOR CENTER - Oct. 1,2009 - May 1, 2010
Learn how to use a computer, or improve existing skills at the Watertown Senior Center! Four week tutorial classes are available in Introduction to the Internet. Classes have a maximum of 4 students, and are designed for seniors with little or no computer experience. A four class course costs $25.00 and pre-registration is required. NEED LEGAL ADVICE? BC Legal Assistance Outreach Program - Nov. 20
Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau has office hours at the Watertown Senior Center monthly during the school year. Call us at 617-972-6490 to schedule a confidential appointment. The appointments are approximately fifteen minutes long, and are intended to enable the lawyers to get a sense of the legal problem or question, and to determine what further help is necessary.
