On the Watertown Seal is a picture of an English Colonist and an Indian exchanging, as peace tokens,  bread for fish.  Captain Roger Clap landed at Nantasket Point in 1630 and rode up Charles River to Gerry's Landing with the first party of Watertown Colonists.

Description

The Partnership is a policy body, appointed by the Town Manager, to oversee the development and preservation of affordable housing in Watertown. The responsibilities of the Partnership include assisting in the administration of the Town’s Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance, overseeing HOME funds via the WestMetro HOME Consortium, and administration of the Affordable Housing Trust Fund, as well as affordable housing advocacy.
